A Season to be Joyful
A Video
on Dec 8, 2020
Yippee! The Advent season is here with us again, and in a few weeks time, people all over the world - Christians and non-Christians alike - will be celebrating Christmas Day. Goats will be slaughtered and lots of drinks consumed on that day. And here in Kenya, many city-dwellers will travel upcountry to re-unite with their families during Christmas celebrations.
Because Christmas is a worldwide holiday, I'm sure you must have heard of the expressions "Jesus is the Reason for the Season" and "Keep Christ in Christmas", haven't you? As for me, I have embraced those catchphrases by allowing Christ into my life.
That's what led me to compose the hymn in the video above. The hymn beseeches us to be joyful for our Saviour is born, to be grateful for the blessings on our way, to reflect on the year about to end and to envision our dreams for coming year. As always, I urge you to listen to the hymn and let me know how you find it through the feedback page of this blog. Happy listening!

Lord Be With Me
A Video

Click the play button in the video above to listen to another hymn I have composed and produced. The hymn is a kind of prayer in which I ask God to be with me when I rise, work, think and sleep. I beseech Him to fill me with His bliss, joy, strength, faith, hope, grace, peace and love as I go about my daily business. Hoping that you'll find the hymn tuneful and memorable, I request you to listen to it and offer me your feedback on how you find it. Over to you!
