Positive Quote For Today

"The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself."— C. JoyBell C.

Lord I Bow Before You

During the evangelism course I took in 2008 at All Saints' Cathedral in Nairobi, we were taught to pray using the ACTS formula. In the ACTS formula, 'A' stands for adoration, 'C' for confession, 'T' for Thanksgiving and 'S' for supplication. Basically, that means we should start our prayers by praising God, then confessing our sins, then expressing our gratitude and finally presenting our requests to Him.

The above hymn I composed is a prayer that follows the ACTS formula as you will discover when you listen to its four verses. Hoping that you will enjoy the hymn as much as I did when composing it, I urge you to listen to the whole of it. And once you are done listening, please be kind enough to send me your feedback on how you find it. Nothing gives me greater joy than hearing from this blog visitors like you. Happy listening!

Promise Yourself

I love composing hymns. Well, I don't think the above piece of music is a hymn because it doesn't mention God, Jesus or His Word. Neither does it rhyme the way most hymns do. Maybe I can call it an inspirational song. It inspires us, among other things, to accept ourselves as we are even with all our faults and to rejoice in the success of others.

As always, I request you to listen to the inspirational song at a time that is convenient for you. And once you are done listening, please be kind enough to write me a review on how you find it through the feedback link on the menu at the top of this blog. I am dying to hear from you!
