[On the story about "Reconnecting With Music"] Beautiful! I remember those days; we have really come from far. I enjoyed reading the post.

[On the story about "My First Major Setback"] It's so encouraging. We are not always prepared to receive the setbacks ahead of us, but God's grace is always sufficient.

[On the story about "My First Major Setback"] Another well written and reflective piece, Thuita. The experience which you do describe is familiar. I remember my decision not to go the Canadian University of Waterloo was based on financial considerations as well. And I can definitely sympathize with how devastating some of these decisions can be, especially given the high hopes or expectations one may have. It's interesting you still have a copy of the letter you received, which again shows how significant this event was and why you describe it as one time you experienced a major setback.

[On the story about "Adjusting to Life Without Mum"] Great story, Thuita. I have found it tough since she passed away. Been reading about life after death and realized she must be very happy in heaven; found it comforting to see that.

[On the story about "The Story of Mum's Life"] So sad to read this story. May she Rest In Peace. God has the master plan for all of us. Nothing catches God by surprise. Good thing is to trust in Him at all times.
We are all sojourners in this world. One day we will all be united with our maker. Key question is how well we are spending our very limited time here on earth - are we spending the time to serve, worship and bring glory to our maker? Or are we only in pursuit of the finite, temporal and material things of this world.
Even as we go through tough times, pain and worries of this world, like Job the biblical figure, let's remember our redeemer liveth. Pain, death and other forms of suffering are not the end for true believers in Christ.
Paul the apostle, reflecting on this matters, observed that for him to live is Christ but to die is gain. God bless you.

[On the story about "Mum Laid to Rest"] Thuita, I am very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how difficult this period must have been for you and your family. Wishing you comfort and peace of mind.

[On the story about "Mum Breathes Her Last"] Oooooh no! I remember how polite and good she was. Whenever I passed by her shop, she would give me sweets. So saddening! May she rest in peace.
