Regaining My Natural Sweetness

Sadly, I lost my natural sweetness later on in 2008 when I went astray at university, got admitted to hospital and gained weight as a result of eating and sleeping too much. Oh, the consequences of sinning!
One chorister at All Saints' Cathedral, who had acted in ways that made me know she wanted me to get engaged to her daughter, noted how I changed because she said something in 2010 that showed her doubts whether I was still a good man.
Several years later, I lost more sweetness when I started using Band-Aid remedies like wearing sunglasses, putting on cologne and not talking to my fellow tribesmen in our native language - just to keep people from exploiting me.
I also started withholding information from people, thinking that they should also struggle to get it the way I did. Once when I gave out information to a friend, I did so after he sent me the money I demanded. I just hated being exploited.
To regain the natural sweetness that once made me God's gift to women, I have accepted Christ as my Savior. I also read, write, reflect, eat a balanced diet, drink water, go for walks, listen to beautiful music and show genuine fondness for people.
Boring though those steps seem, they have worked wonders for me because I am now as sweet as a man can be. For how else can you explain that one pretty girl of about 12 greets me affectionately when we meet in my walks?
And I am regaining my natural sweetness without fearing to say "no" people or associating with any man. In fact, my sweetness is making me comfortable in my own skin. It's just a matter of knowing who I am in Christ.
