From Doubt to Devotion

Come April 2007, I joined the 9:30 a.m. English service choir of All Saints' Cathedral Nairobi. And lo! I found myself in company of Christians who were committed to their faith.
The Christians were adults, not youths, so they weren't the sort of people I could engage in a discussion about whether the Bible is true. And they required me to commit my life to Christ before I could start singing in the pews.
Their dedication to the Word of God made me reconsider my views on the Bible. But a preface I read in a Bible I picked up around that time was the straw that broke the camel's back.
The preface said the Bible has transformed confused people into clear-thinking Christians. Hearing that made me want to study it because I was often told how confused I was.
