A Wonderful Church

The warm reception started during a service I attended. Well, a speaker (a cleric, I suppose) asked all visitors to stand up. When I did, an usher gave me a form in which I filled in my name, contacts and the talents I had.
I don't know if anyone acted on that form, but I'm glad I caught the attention of an organist who introduced me to the cathedral's 9:30 a.m. English service choir which I joined and came to love being part of.
The choir was close-knit and professional; and best of all, it sang wonderful songs like "Father Hear the Prayers We Offer", a simple but powerful hymn I sang during a family gathering here at home in December 2012.
Besides singing in the choir, I also attended evangelism classes at the cathedral, and the key truth I learnt from the classes is that God loves me and has a wonderful plan for my life.
I however took a long time to discover that plan. Only after experimenting with several careers did I realize God intended me to be a Christian blogger, a path that is turning out to be fulfilling.
And God has guided me along that path as the hymn "Father Hear the Prayers We Offer" asks Him to do. But I didn't notice Him guiding me till I looked back and saw His fingerprints along the path.
